It's only natural in the uphill struggle we face to preserve and
protect our environment to wonder whether purchasing organic
products really makes a difference. It's easy to think why
organic when there are dozens of other options that are more
convenient and less expensive.
But by choosing organic products, consumers are voting with
their wallets and sending the message to food growers and
manufacturers that organic practices are important. The
growth of the organic segment has been so dramatic because more and
more people are demanding these products. And whether
producers sign on to manufacture organic products for ideological,
financial, and marketing reasons, the result is the same-less
degradation to our environment and a healthier planet.
So, yes, our choices matter a great deal.
